How long have you attended Meaningful Day Services?
Justin – 12 years
Chuck – Really long time!
What have you been doing to stay busy during COVID?
Justin – Taking lots of walks. I also do zooms and talk to others. My girlfriend has not been attending, so I call her on the phone.
Chuck – We have been busy with zoom meetings. I also work at Big Lots. If I am not working, I am here, it is like a 2nd home. I have also been getting tutoring.
What do you like most about MDS?
Justin – I get to work on my goals like increase my patience and work on self-advocacy.
Chuck – I get to see my friends and work with the best staff here. We have a new job coach, John, who is great.
What would you tell others about why they should attend MDS?
Justin – We usually go on field trips. We even BBQ grill every year.
Chuck – It is a really good program. You don’t want to leave because you will be loving it. We have games and classes.
