Employment Support

Associated with Meaningful Day Services, employment supports are offered to people who desire to enter/reenter the competitive workforce. Once enrolled in the Employment Supports program, interviews, assessments, and discussions are completed to determine specific interests and types of work they find interesting and appropriate. Participants are educated in various job skills and requirements through the tutelage of a trained job coach. Participants learn the importance of attendance and respect for others in their area of employment. They are coached in all aspects of obtaining employment including filling out applications, creating a resume, interview skills for a job opening in their field of choice and maintaining employment through positive and professional interactions.

Individuals who have participated in the Employment Supports program have been successful in cultivating and maintaining competitive, community-based jobs throughout greater Plymouth. Our Job coach and staff have developed key relationships with members of the community to network and collaborate to find the right job placement for everyone.
